MAJOR LAWSUIT AGAINST MN DEPT OF ED plus MORE SOLUTIONS
1) UMLC (Upper Midwest Law Center) Files Lawsuit Against MN Department of Education
We’re fighting for transparency and holding government accountable!
This week, we filed a lawsuit against the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) on behalf of Center of the American Experiment (CAE) for concealing public data regarding their controversial Ethnic Studies Working Group and its activities. MDE has violated the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act (DPA) for months by refusing to disclose public information and comply with data requests about the group, and their draft Ethnic Studies Course Framework.
The complaint also alleges that earlier this year, MDE ignored multiple requests by CAE for other information on the Ethnic Studies Working Group for months until UMLC threatened legal action for that violation of the DPA. It has been over 2 months since MDE completed the framework, and this pattern of “stone-walling” raises serious concerns about ideological indoctrination in K-12 classrooms. CONTINUE READING AT :
