NEW Tool to fight Solar etc at the local level

Well, as usual, its not really a NEW tool, just new to me and most of the
public. ORDINANCES AT THE TWP LEVEL. We recently discovered that an Ordinance
drawn up and approved by a local TWP, can often offset demands by your local
County or City.
Case in point : Recently, a Township in Central MN was approached to bring a
Solar project to their Rural area. As luck would have it, that particular TWP
had a legal Ordinance in place that BLOCKED construction of Solar projects
without the TWP citizens consent. The Solar promoters backed down and went to
another TWP.
We have been telling communities for about 4 years now that they should
FIRST have a PROTECTIVE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN in place before moving ahead with
Ordinances etc and usually that is the way it is done. But as usual, clear
thinking Grassroots Patriots are the ones who often come up with the best solutions.

YOUR TWP to use if they so choose. I assume that a small Community could do
this as well. I have also put a copy on our website for easy download. You can
use the website to download a PROTECTIVE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN to use and modify
any way you see fit. Along with that is a SURVEY that we sent to all residents
