UN or ILLEGALS AS POLICE IN MN-BETTER HAVE A PLAN B

as MN plans to drive more local Police away: Hold onto your hats because the Minneapolis City Council just dropped a bombshell! 🚨 They’ve hit the brakes on incentives for Minneapolis Police Officers, and the city is buzzing with debates on police funding. Buckle up; things are about to get intense. Why does this matter? Flashback to 2020: UMLC kicked off a legal showdown, representing eight residents and community leaders. We took on the Minneapolis City Council and Mayor Frey, putting them on the spot for their failure to fund and keep an adequate police force, as legally required in the City Charter. Fast forward to June 20, 2022—cue the confetti—UMLC nailed a victory at the Minnesota Supreme Court. The court threw down the law, reminding the city of its duty to uphold police funding and employment standards. The recent diss of the labor agreement with the Police Union by the City Council, perks and all, is raising eyebrows. Is it consistent with the court’s decree? We’ve got our doubts. Hold up, there’s more! The City Council is tossing resources at “violence interrupters” (people in orange T-shirts) while crime continues to run rampant. We believe this is way off base and not in line with the city’s duty to keep us safe. Crime continues unabated in Minneapolis, with no solution in sight. EDITORS NOTE – Remember that over the last couple years, both Minneapolis and Rogue Regional Planners in Ottertail County (WCI) have discussed using UN Police. Now the Gov of Illinois announced that he will use recent folks who crossed the Border for his own Police Force and Walz has discussed the same.
WHERE AND WHAT IS YOUR PLAN B? Why not CONSTABLES at the TWP level. They don’t even have to be armed but could legally sign up responsible Volunteer Citizens for various emergencies.
